Should be compatible with multiple devices

We are way beyond the era of exclusively surfing the internet on a desktop. Consumers may prefer to use their smartphones to look up business sites, but that doesn’t mean they are not expecting a seamless experience between their mobile and desktop platforms. If they found a product or service on their phone, they expect a nearly identical process on the desktop site. Consumers also appreciate the ability to easily share content with their family and friends. A seamless experience from desktop to mobile facilitates these consumer-pleasing functions.

Landing pages are a must

Landing pages are an integral feature to your business website for new product launches, services and promotions. Visible, interactive and easy-to-find are just some of the key elements of a powerful inbound strategy. A landing page can only be as effective as the rest of your web presence. For example, if a website isn’t highly optimized for mobile, some businesses will lose out on the effectiveness. Make sure you have a robust social media campaign to make a landing page successful as well.

If age has caught up to your business website, it’s important to implement methods to catch up. While a full redesign may not align with your current plans, other tweaks and tricks, landing pages included, can help you stand out from the rest.
